Application Features
Specification-grade, moisture resistant, recessed, lay-in T-Bar luminaire with framed door. For use in indoor applications and for outdoor canopies. Available in 2'x2', 2'x4', and 1'x4' configurations.
Construction
Die formed and spot welded, 22 gauge cold rolled steel housing assembly. 22 gauge cold rolled steel Die formed, 22 gauge cold rolled steel door frame. Spot-welded for rigidity and clean appearance. Wiring access plate or flattenned knockouts are provided on side of housing for connection to power supply. Ballast cover is mounted on one side of the fixture in order to provide uniform illumination and to avoid shadowing caused by dark reflective areas. Diffuser is held within a hinged frame door. Closed cell neoprene gasket ensures seal between door frame assembly and housing. Spring push clips retains the diffuser against the door frame. All fasteners to be plated or corrosion resistant. Captive nuts or equivalent to be used throughout. Back surface contains no holes Will butt together for mounting into continuous rows.

Lay-in type fixture for exposed grid type acoustical ceiling structure.
Finish
Powder painted high reflectance white housing components.
Optics
Standard diffuser is a clear, prismatic, pattern #12 extruded acrylic lens, designed for high efficiency and low glare illumination. ( Lens may be mounted with smooth face down for better seal to door frame. Please specify.) See Product Key for alternate configurations. Optional VF-1 reflectors are made of specular PVD aluminum, colourfree with a minumum reflectivity of 95%.
Electrical
All electrical components are UL listed or CSA approved Ballasts and lamp holders are replaceable without removing the luminaire from the ceiling. Lamp holders provided ensure positive lamp retention. Lamp holders with rotary locks are available. Approximately 6" ballast leads extend through wiring access cover, in order to facilitate external wiring of luminaire. Ballasts are approved to CSA and UL standards. See product selection for optional ballasts. Fixtures are provided with an access plate, to facilitate wiring to external power source. (On non-Dripproof type requirements.) Stranded wiring is provided for marine vessel use.
